Q: WHAT MAKES YOUR WORK DIFFERENT FROM OTHER PHOTOGRAPHERS’ WORK?
A: we take all of our photos in intimate, relaxed settings & try to use natural lighting as often as possible. our sessions are candid & fun!
Q: WILL WE GET THE PRINT RELEASE TO OUR PHOTOS AFTER OUR WEDDING?
A: yes! upon receiving your images, you will also get a full print release.
Q: HOW MANY PHOTOGRAPHERS WILL BE THERE AT OUR WEDDING?
A: all of our wedding collections come with two photographers.
Q: WILL WE GET FEATURED IN A MAGAZINE OR BLOG?
A: although many of our sessions do get featured, this is not something that is guaranteed. most publishers are interested in colorful, uniquely designed weddings with a ton of creative details that haven’t been seen before!
Q: DO YOU PHOTOGRAPH ELOPEMENTS?
A: of course! there is something about the intimacy of elopements that really resonates with me.
Q: DO YOU HAVE A LIST OF PREFERRED VENDORS TO USE?
A: we sure do! from wedding coordinators to florists & caterers, we have worked with some of the best companies in the industry & would be happy to share their information with you!
Q: WE’RE HAVING A DESTINATION WEDDING. DO YOU TRAVEL?
A: yes! we love destination weddings & have been lucky enough to travel shooting weddings. send us more information on your travel plans, and we will create a custom wedding collection to suit your needs.
Q: DO I HAVE TO ORDER PRINTS THROUGH YOU?
A: we highly recommend ordering prints through our professional vendors, but it is not required. the difference in quality is huge when it comes to ordering through a professional lab, so we encourage clients to let us help with prints!
Q: WHAT EQUIPMENT DO YOU USE?
A: we use all of the latest canon equipment. i always carry two 5d mark iv’s, 50 mm lens, 85 mm lens, 24-70 mm lens, 135 mm lens & the 70-200 mm lens, among other items. all of our cameras & lenses have a backup in the rare event that anything should happen to one of our pieces & images are recorded on dual memory cards so there is always a back up in case anything were to happen to one of the cards.
Q: what is the best time for photos?
A: approximately 1.5 hours prior to sunset (aka magic hour). think of it this way, the higher the sun is in the sky, the more harsh the light will be. so as the sun approaches the horizon, you’ll get that soft golden light which is the most flattering on skin tones. sunrise is always beautiful too, but let’s be honest, who’s even up that early?
Q: HOW DO WE RESERVE OUR WEDDING DATE?
A: a 50% deposit & signed contract is required in order to get your wedding day on the calendar. one month prior to your wedding, the remainder of the balance is due.
