I always tell my couples that I’m not only their photographer, but I’m also a resource for them, so “don’t hesitate to ask for referrals & recommendations”. When I first met with Rebecca & Aaron, they were in the very beginning stages of wedding planning. They had not hired a wedding coordinator yet, so I recommended the amazing Chabeli Sanchez of PS Plans & Associates . As soon as they met Chabeli, they instantly fell in love with her & dove headfirst into the planning process. They set their date & booked their dream venue in Malibu. However, a few months later, their original venue sadly burned down in the Woolsey Fire, so all of the sudden it was back to square one.
THIS is one of MANY reasons why I ALWAYS recommend my clients hire a wedding coordinator. You never know what detours will get thrown at you, but having an amazing coordinator takes an immense amount of stress off of you & allows you to solely focus on being the bride. Wedding planning requires endless decisions, detailed budgets, managing vendors, organizing deliveries, payments, timelines, etc. Over the years I’ve heard so many people try to save money by not hiring a coordinator & sadly, I think that’s the main decision that hinders them from thoroughly enjoying their wedding day. However, not all coordinators are created equal, so be sure to do your research! Okay, back to Rebecca & Aaron … Chabeli immediately re-started the venue search with them & after visiting several potential replacement venues, Kletner Ranch blew them away & was amazingly available on their original date! Not only did it feel like it was meant to be, but it provided the most magical backdrop for their dream wedding! I can’t speak highly enough of this venue! Often times it’s a challenge to find a venue that provides stunning getting ready spaces, perfect portrait locations, a beautiful ceremony location, a perfect cocktail hour area & a scenic reception space. Kletner Ranch had it all & more! See for yourself …
